Feedback

Visitors report bugs and ideas through the widget on your site. Each report is an issue, and the conversation with its reporter runs in that issue’s comments.

Every widget sends its reports to one board. A report lands as an ordinary issue, titled from the first line of the message, with the annotated screenshot attached and the page URL, browser and custom data in the description. Your boards stay private.

support-reporter on Web

A reporter who left an email gets a confirmation with a private link to their report: what they sent, every reply addressed to them, and a reply box. No account needed.

  • On the issue, the comment composer has a Reply to reporter toggle. Switch it on and that comment is emailed to the reporter and marked to reporter. A toast says whether the mail went out. The toggle turns off after each send, so follow-up notes stay with the team.
  • A reporter’s answer shows up as a comment marked reporter, and as Reporter replied in the inbox of the issue’s followers and assignee (every member, when nobody follows it yet).
  • An answer on a completed issue reopens it to Backlog.

Reporter comments render as plain text; members can delete them and nobody can edit them. Agents reply the same way over MCP with exponential_comments and audience: "reporter".

Reports are issues, so triage is the board: set priority and labels, move noise to Cancelled, mark repeats as Duplicate. Or select several and press Start coding to hand them to an agent as one chat.

When the issue completes, a reporter who left an email gets one email saying their report is resolved.
